Is Sage One Accounting for my business or personal use?

Sage One Accounting is recommended for business use. This online accounting and invoicing software was designed with entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses in mind.

What am I able to do in the free version?

In the free version, you are limited to one user, can send up to five invoices a month, and are able to add one financial (banking, savings, credit or debit) account.

What happens when I reach the limits on the free version?

Once you have reached your invoice and financial account limit, you will not be able to send any additional invoices until the beginning of the next month. We recommend that you upgrade to the premium version of Sage One Accounting to take advantage of the unlimited features. You can upgrade from the free version to the premium version directly within the Sage One app.

Will I be able to accept online payments using Sage One?

Absolutely. Sage One integrates with Sage Payments Solutions1 and PayPal to provide you with options for accepting online payments.1 Did you know that 52% of business owners earn at least $1,000 in additional revenue per month by accepting credit cards and 74% said they get paid faster and have fewer debts3? More money in your pocket means you're a happy business owner!

How many additional people can I give access to use my Sage One account?

If you are a subscriber of the free version, you are limited to one user/one login for your account. Premium subscribers are able to add an unlimited number of users to their Sage One account.

Can Sage One link to my bank account?

Yes, subscribers of the free version of Sage One are able to link one financial account (banking, savings, credit or debit). If you subscribe to Sage One Accounting Premium you have the ability to link an unlimited number of financial (banking, savings, credit or debit) accounts.

How do I invite my accountant?

In Sage One, linking to an accountant is only available for premium users of Sage One Accounting. If you have a premium account for Sage One, send your accountant to sign up for the Sage One Accountant Edition and they will be able to send you an invitation to connect.4 Also forward your accountant these instructions to ensure you and your accountant can connect with each other.
